Our staff diligently work to stay abreast of updated resources and providers to share accurate timely information with families and professionals. Educational Support

 

South Carolina Autism Society
Parent-School-Partnership (PSP) Program

Our PSP Program Parent Mentors are trained Parents, of a child/individual with Autism, and Staff that assist Parents, of Autistic children, or who are seeking an Autism diagnosis, with navigating through the public education system. Our Parent Mentors can help with IEP and 504 Plans, school discipline concerns, and a variety of other education related concerns. Peer Support

 

Able SC Peer Support & Mentoring

Able SC offers peers support services with Peer Supporters that work one-on-one, in small groups, and hold regular monthly Peer Support Groups for those interested-both on-site and online. Behaviors A Go-Go Parent Connection Group

The Parent Connection Group Hour offered by Behaviors A Go-Go is ABA Program Supervisor facilitated group that offers parents and caregivers of children with Autism the opportunity to connect and share experience with each other. Family Connections South Carolina

Parent to Parent Support Family Connections South Carolina offers parent to parent support that consists of trained parent volunteers who provide emotional support and information to families based on their child’s disability or special healthcare concern. These trained parent volunteers have a child with a diagnosis similar to the parent they are matching with.
