In 2008, the South Carolina Autism Society and the LUCAS Network first partnered to provide a Thanksgiving dinner to families affected by autism who are going through financial difficulties. Thanks to the community’s donations, almost 900 families in need have been served since 2008. Your donations supported 130 families in 2016 alone! The need continues to grow.

It’s time to start planning for Strides for Autism 2016! Strides for Autism is the South Carolina Autism Society’s signature fund-raising and awareness walk. Monies raised for South Carolina Autism Society stay in South Carolina and go towards individual and family supports, education, advocacy, and training. According to the South Carolina Secretary of State, the South Carolina Autism Society devoted nearly 90% of its total expenses to program services.

Irmo, SC- March 31, 2015–The South Carolina Autism Society announces its annual signature fundraising and awareness walk, Strides for Autism 2015. The event will take place Saturday, May 2, at Saluda Shoals Park in Irmo, SC. Onsite Registration begins at 8:00 am, with the Event Kickoff at 9:00 am. West Columbia, SC- March 24, 2015– From March 30 - Apr. 5, Bojangles stores in the Midlands will be donating 50 cents from every two-pack of Bo Berry Biscuits to the South Carolina Autism Society! Check with your local store to see if they are participating.
